There are some principles as foundation of the education provided for preschool students.

  • Fitrah: All children are born as fitrah
  • Nurturing all Potentials
  • Values Internalization
  • Supportive Environment

Based on these principles, all activities done by the students become valuable learning opportunity. Through Islamic environment and the implementation of sharia and sunnah in daily life, automatically children will feel the positive feeling about Islamic values and be encouraged to implement these values in their live. Integrated learning activity provided also help students to optimize the development of their natural potentials, in cognitive, social-emotional, motor skill. In this level, the main objective of the education are internalizing Islamic values, using English as tool for communication, optimizing the age-appropriate development and developing independent thinking skills as basic for learning.

Monday – Thursday : 09.00-14.00 Friday : 09.00-15.00

The primary school is divided into six grades, started by age 6. The main objectives of this level are internalizing Islamic values, developing learning skills to be lifelong learner, developing understanding of science and its influence to real life, and developing useful life skills to be part of community. The Islamic values are internalized not only through Islamic subject, but throughout all daily activities in school.

Based on Cambridge Curriculum, Secondary School is divided into Secondary 1 (Year 7-9) and Secondary 2 (Year 10-11). However, for the first three years we plan to run Secondary 1 and 2 only. In Secondary, the school curriculum focuses on internalizing Islamic value, especially in the important stage of puberty. The students should be empowered with good understanding and comfortable feeling of Islam in order to be Muslim with integrity and confidence. In addition, students are also prepared to be excellent person who will give contribution with their expertise and be useful for the community. In the academic field, the school focuses on building excellence in any field that the students choose by preparing them to take IGCSE examination.

Monday – Friday: 9.00 – 16.00

The school year in YUAI International Islamic School follows the school year in regular Japanese School, which starts in April and ends in March. The reason of this regulation is to give the students opportunity to have social activities during holiday with Japanese students. In addition, there will be no gap about the age for each level between YUAI International Islamic School and Japanese school. This enables students to enroll national examination for Japanese University after they graduate.

Before the school year started, YUAI International Islamic School offers a preparation program for incoming students. The preparation program has started in September 2016 as an after school program. This program aims to prepare students to be ready with the learning activities in school which will use English as communication tool. Therefore, this program is provided for students of elementary school and junior high school. The preparation program will be adjusted to suit the need of each level and in general the program will cover:
